Fuzhou Peanut Butter Noodles

A simple yet delicious dish! Simply mix the sauce together, toss in your cooked noodles, garnish, and you've got yourself some Fujianese Style Peanut Butter Noodles!

INGREDIENTS

*Optional garnishes: shredded cucumber, chili oil, Sriracha, kimchi, etc.

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. STEP 1: Mix peanut butter, soysauce and sesame oil in a bowl. Taste the sauce until you find a good balance of flavors. Set the sauce bowl aside.
  2. Bowl of mixed peanut butter noodle sauce
  3. STEP 2: Boil a pot of water and add the noodles in.
  4. Pack of wonton noodles
  5. STEP 3: Cook for 1 minute (or 2 minutes if frozen) just until noodles are warm and pliant. Save a cup of the noodle water!
  6. STEP 4: When the noodles are done, scoop them up and place them into the sauce bowl.
  7. STEP 5: Add as little or as much pasta water as you want to get the sauce to a consistency you like!
  8. STEP 6: Garnish and enjoy! Put any leftovers in a tubberware container and keep it in the refrigerator.
